Scholarships for nursing students

Recognizing the need for cultural and gender diversity in nursing, the foundation will develop some scholarships specifically targeted to cultural minorities and male students. Currently, the foundation has under consideration:

  • National Student Nurse Association (NSNA) scholarships--these scholarships will be developed in conjunction with the NSNA Foundation for students already enrolled in a nursing program.
  • Scholarships targeted at Native American students enrolled in the nursing program at the University of New Mexico, Gallup.
  • In addition, the Nursing2007 Foundation will develop other scholarships in collaboration with nursing organizations.
